We’re Annika and Aspen, sisters, co-founders of ANNI, and daughters of a hairstylist. Hair care has always been part of our story. Growing up, our mom was always doing our hair— teaching us how to care for it, try different styles, and feel good however we chose to wear it. Eventually we took over doing each other’s hair and in usual sister fashion, somewhere between the stolen clothes and beauty products, it became a special part of our relationship. Now we both get to do Aspen’s daughter’s hair, passing down what our mom taught us and what we’ve picked up from each other along the way.

ANNI came from wanting something better, something cleaner. We couldn’t find a hair wax with clean, simple ingredients that actually worked for your hair, not against it, and felt good to use on the people we care about most. So, we got started.
